Lasertag versus Paintball: What's the difference?
The differences between paintball and laser tag are vast. Both offer advantages as well as disadvantages. You can decide which is for you, but laser tag caters to a larger crowd overall.
To start, laser tag can be played by people of all ages. Paintball is limited to kids older than 12 and people healthy enough to handle the pain and physical strain associated with it. Laser tag can be very exciting while allowing players to take it easier. Kids often disregard rules simply because they do not know any better. Paintball uses projectiles and pressurized equipment, so this can be a liability. Laser tag requires less safety equipment and rules.
Laser tag is also far more affordable than paintball. The cost of paintball for a day of play averages around $100 at most fields. Plus, you need to buy expensive gear to play if you decide not to rent. Laser tag costs an average of just $20 dollars for a day of play. Most people rent equipment, which is cheaper than buying anything. You can play laser tag longer when costs are a factor.
Although paintball fields can be cool looking and adventurous, you have to travel to the field to play. If you play on your own space, you need to select an area far enough away from people or buildings to keep things safe. Laser tag can be played anywhere, indoors and outdoors with no regard for nearby people or objects except where the use of guns may be considered touchy.
Laser tag should not be considered a replacement for paintball, but rather a supplement. You should play the one that appeals to you, but keep an open mind for the other during those worst case scenarios where weather, money, or guests can determine what you do.

Father's Day Activity - Paintball Laser Tag!
Dads and families now have another option when deciding what to do for Father’s Day. Have you thought about paintball laser tag? Everyone can play together and have a blast. While the batting cages, mini golf, and go-karts can be fun, paintball laser tag is much more exciting and encourages players to work together as a team. Forget the mess and pain of traditional paintball and opt for the safe and clean version that even mom will play.
Paintball laser tag is very similar to regular laser tag. Predator Games has two different versions of laser tag systems. The first, the Eagle Eye, drops onto existing paintball makers and activates when the gun is fired. The only difference is now you are shooting a safe beam of light as opposed to a projectile of paint. The second system is a stand alone laser tag gun requiring no air source. This completely electronic gun is ideal for saving further costs and playing in sound sensitive environments. Paintball laser tag can be played anywhere. There are dozens of fields that supply paintball laser tag units for rental and you can also head to your local rental center or entertainment center.
The whole family will enjoy those “gotcha” moments and the stories will be told for a long time to come. For more information on playing paintball laser tag, visit www.predatorgames.com or www.paintballlasertag.com.

Lowering your paintball costs with the Eagle Eye.
The average paintball player spends around $100 every weekend for a few hours of paintball. This cost can spiral out of control and limits the amount of time spent playing the game or honing your skills. Not everyone can afford the high costs of playing paintball, especially when you factor in the cost of decent gear. What if you could practice and play paintball longer without spending another dollar on paint?
Enter: the Eagle Eye drop-in paintball laser tag system. You don’t have to give up playing paintball but you can practice even longer by using this paintball laser tag system from Predator Games. You can train and hone your skills the same way you normally would except without paint. The Eagle Eye system drops onto an existing paintball marker and uses the vibrations of the gun firing to activate. You score hits by successfully tagging the opponents system. Both the shooter and the player getting hit will know who hit who. No paint costs involved so you can play for hours longer. Since there is no flying paint, coaches and teammates can work with you at personal distances to sharpen your skills.
